Quote from Rubenz81 :Hmmm why not invert them? from the photo seems gas and brake are more near now allowing easyer heel and toe. So you dont need to make any changes to your hardware.

so its like this then:

if the clutch slips a little all the time because of minor overheating -> more friction -> heat -> more slip

so when clutch heats beyond a certain %, it is doomed pretty much

Quote from JTbo :How about using pov between up and right position (viistot/väli-ilmansuunnat) for example, that would use 2 buttons, right?

just tried it, no go.

profiler sees all 8 directions as separate, so pushing up&right is not the same as up and right simultaneously.

lfs doesn't even recognize the in-between positions

edit: i sort of got it working by using the "FPS style movement" in profiler. now up on the d-pad looks right 45deg and left looks left 45deg. pressing both at the same time is possible but weird

it will not work properly. you can make it so that you can look to side 90 degrees for a fixed amount of time, but not for as long as you like. hard to explain, but the profiler does not support "button down" and "button up" -events

I tried it out, and it seems that we can still shift without using the clutch, by just rev matching.

It doesn't work in "sequential operation of H-pattern", only for shifters. Fair enough, i have a feeling santa will bring me a G25.

wind? air intake? rev limiter? try using the shift-a mixer to isolate the sound

Quote from Taavi(EST) :What i actually would like to see is a quick FOV changing button, so that you press a button and the FOV changes to, say 110 degrees, and when you release it, it goes back to your previous FOV (~80 in my case).

+1

i actually tried to do this via scripts, but could not get it to work.
